Omega 3 Fatty Acids are the fatty acids found in oily fish that give them their reputation as ‘brain food’. The Omega 3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) serve important roles in the body, contributing to normal heart function, brain function and vision. Omega 3 Fish Oil is an important part of a healthy, balanced diet.

In countries where people eat more oily fish, such as in the Mediterranean, fewer people have heart disease compared to countries where people eat very little oily fish, such as here in the UK.
