Rosewood Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation from the bark of the rosewood tree. This evergreen tree can grow up to 125 feet tall. It has a reddish-brown bark and yellow flowers and is now a protected species.  The wood is used for building materials, making furniture and for chopsticks in Japan!

Blends well with:

We have found that Rosewood Essential Oil blends particularly well with the citrus oils (Orange, Lime, Lemon etc) and floral oils such as Geranium and Rose Geranium.

Usage:

• Baths: 4-8 drops of oil should be blended in a teaspoon of carrier oil and added to the bath
• Massages: 2-4 drops of essential oils should be added to to 1 tablespoonful of carrier oil
• Vaporisation: 3-5 drops of essential oil should be added to a burner, aroma stone or aroma stream
